What data we collect

The Boardingpoints browser extension is designed to be privacy-first. We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the service:

• Email address — if you sign up to the waitlist or create an account.
• Usage analytics — anonymised, aggregated data (e.g. which retailers triggered a reminder) to improve the extension. No personally identifiable information is included.

We do not store your browsing history. The extension detects retailer pages locally in your browser; this information is never transmitted to our servers.

How we use your data

• To send you product updates if you joined the waitlist (you can unsubscribe any time).
• To improve the extension based on anonymised usage patterns.

Third parties

We may earn a commission when you activate loyalty points through a shopping portal link in the extension. This is how we keep the core product free. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We use standard SaaS tools (email delivery, analytics) that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements. All processors are GDPR-compliant.
